  Melissa Obrochta, DMD

  Growing up in New Jersey, Dr. Obrochta knew from a young age she wanted to be a dentist. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Dental Medicine. Following graduation from dental school, she completed a one year residency program at Coler Goldwater Specialty Hospital in New York City. After treating children for many years through the Department of Health in Pensacola, she decided Gulf Breeze would be the perfect place to grow a family, a dental practice, and serve an amazing community. Dr. Obrochta is an avid member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry with a passion for delivering stunning cosmetic makeover solutions. With a third son on the way, she and her husband Rafael love spending time with their young children enjoying our beautiful beaches, hiking, camping, paddle boarding, and all the nature NW Florida offers. She is a physical fitness enthusiast and loves to pursue leading-edge dental advancements and training opportunities.

  Vanessa Brennan, DMD

  A native of Columbia, Dr. Brennan moved to Florida as a toddler. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, she spent two years with the National Health Service Corps working in an underserved community with migrant farmworkers. Dr. Brennan has spent the last decade working in both public health and private practice as well as serving as a faculty member for both the University of Florida College of Dentistry and Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. She and her husband Cameron love spending time with their two young daughters enjoy the beaches and the beauty of Florida’s Emerald Coast.

  Matthew Banks, DMD, FAGD, ABGD, MS

  As a former Submarine Officer turned Naval Dentist, Dr. Banks offers his patients a wide range of experience and an extraordinary level of excellence. He achieved his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry through the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Following graduation from dental school, he completed a two-year comprehensive residency program at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School where he also earned a Master’s degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Banks is board certified by the American Board of General Dentistry and is also among the top 6% of dentists in the country as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He and his wife enjoy family life in the Emerald Coast with their four children, ranging in age from pre-K to high school. He's also a sports lover, from being a part of his kid’s athletic events to watching NCAA football.
