OwnerI’m Captain Scotty Gerdine, the owner and professional fishing guide of Florida's Fish Time Fishing Charters. I specialize in inshore fishing on the bays and the intra coastal waterway of Perdido Key, Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre and Destin, Florida. I also charter near shore fishing trips in the Gulf of Mexico when weather permits. I enjoy giving my customers a total fishing experience from fishing the flats for nice Redfish and Speckled Trout, trolling for King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel and Mahi to bottom fishing on the reefs and wrecks for Red Snapper, Jacks and Grouper. This area provides a large variety of fish species, so every trip can be an adventure. I am born and raised on Florida's Gulf Coast with a passion for fishing since I was a young teen. My passion for fishing started when my father helped me hook my first fish. He would take us fishing every Saturday and he taught me seamanship and fishing skills on his boat. After many years as a deckhand on the fishing boat “Bite Me”, I decided to become a charter captain. Now, I’m living the dream to be on the water and share my knowledge and experiences with my guests. There is something so rewarding about taking someone out that has never fished this area and putting them on a fish of a lifetime. I especially enjoy teaching the younger generation how to fish and giving them an experience to remember.
